Analyzer Access Control Lists

The analyzer access control list (ANA_ACL) block performs the following tasks.

•

Controls the VCAP IS2 lookups in terms of key selection, evaluation of range checkers, and control

of specific VCAP IS2 key fields such as IGR_PORT_MASK_SEL and VID.

•

Generates VCAP IS2 keys and execute the two lookups.

•

Updates VCAP IS2 statistics based on match results.

•

Assigns actions from VCAP IS2 matching or default actions when there is no match.

•

Controls routing-related frame rewrites.

The following sections provides specific information about each of these tasks.

ACL_RT_MODE

Controls routing updates in ANA_AC and how ACL_MAC is applied:

0: No change.

ACL_RT_MODE[3] = 0 (ROUTING mode):

ACL_RT_MODE[0] = 1: Enable Unicast routing updates in ANA_AC

ACL_RT_MODE[1] = 1: Enable Multicast routing updates in ANA_AC

ACL_RT_MODE[2] = 1: Enable overloading of ACL_MAC field.

ACL_RT_MODE[3] = 1 (SWAPPING mode):

ACL_RT_MODE[2:0] encodes a SWAPPING sub-mode:

0: Replace DMAC.

1: Replace SMAC.

2: Swap MAC addresses. Replace SMAC if new SMAC is multicast.

3: Swap MAC addresses if DMAC is unicast. Replace SMAC if DMAC is multicast.

4: Swap MAC addresses. Replace SMAC if new SMAC is multicast. Swap IP addresses.

Replace SIP if new SIP is multicast.

5: Swap MAC addresses if DMAC is unicast. Replace SMAC if DMAC is multicast. Swap

IP addresses if DIP is unicast. Replace SIP if DIP is multicast.

6: Swap IP addresses. Replace SIP if new SIP is multicast.

7: Replace SMAC. Swap IP addresses. Replace SIP if new SIP is multicast.

Note that when replacing a MAC address, the new MAC address is taken from

ACL_MAC. When replacing a SIP, the new SIP is taken from

ANA_ACL::SWAP_SIP[POLICE_IDX].

ACL_MAC

MAC address used to replace either SMAC or DMAC based on ACL_RT_MODE.

Overloading:

ACL_RT_MODE[3:2] = 1.

ACL_MAC[0]: PORT_PT_CTRL_ENA - Overrule PORT_PT_CTRL.

ACL_MAC[6:1]: PORT_PT_CTRL_IDX - into ANA_AC_POL:PORT_PT_CTRL.

ACL_MAC[16]: Enable use of ACL_MAC[26:17] as DLB policer index.

ACL_MAC[26:17]: DLB policer index.

ACL_RT_MODE(3) = 1:

MAC address used to replace either SMAC or DMAC based on ACL_RT_MODE.

PTP_DOM_SEL

PTP domain selector. PTP_DOM_SEL indexes the PTP configuration in

ANA_ACL:PTP_DOM used in Delay_Resp frames. See REW_CMD.
