For technical details about the programmable registers related to the touchscreen, refer to the RAS configuration (RASCFG) registers in the following companion document: ● RM0321: SPEAr320S address map and registers 25.1 Overview The touchscreen IP provides a toggling signal (TOUCHSCREEN_X) connected to the touchscreen panel present outside SPEAr. Figure 99. Top level diagram During the end of high period (of TOUCHSCREEN_X signal), software can read one coordinate and at the end of low period, the other coordinate can be read directly from the ADC. Figure 100. Waveform 25.2 Programming examples The registers used for the operation of the touchscreen IP are: ● Touchscreen_duration, which stores the value (duration) for which TOUCHSCREEN_X should remain high or should remain low. The value present in this register should be expressed in HCLK cycles. ● control_reg (Control register). To start the toggling of TOUCHSCREEN_X signal, bit7 should be set to '1'.
