C3 block diagram C3 is a highly programmable DMA based hardware co-processor that executes some instructions flows (programs) written in memory by the host processor. These programs specify which operations must be performed and where to locate data buffers (input, output, parameters) in memory. After being set-up C3 is completely autonomous and can perform an unlimited number of operations, until it hits an end of program instruction in which case it can signal the end of processing by the means of an interrupt request (if programmed to do so).
