20 / 122 page  2. Activation of SLEEP Mode. This is done by writing an activation code 3 times to the WAK_CONFIG register. PB[1:0] are used to configure the PB time during the polling mode. PT[1:0] are used to configure the P_TIMEOUT. Only consecutive write accesses are allowed. Any write or read access in-between will reset the activation code. Once IC enters in SLEEP mode, in order to save current consumption, the main oscillator is stopped and a low power, lower frequency oscillator takes over, in order to guarantee the correct operation of the POLLING operations.
