Data Byte Enable Reference for a 16-bit Bus
MCUs have different data byte orientations. Table
35 to Table 38 show how the PSD4256G6V inter-
prets byte/word operations in different bus WRITE
configurations. Even-byte refers to locations with
address A0 equal to 0, and odd byte as locations
with A0 equal to 1.

16-bit MCU Bus Interface Examples
Figure 21, page 51 to Figure 26, page 57 show ex-
amples of the basic connections between the
PSD4256G6V and some popular MCUs. The
PSD4256G6V Control input pins are labeled as to
the MCU function for which they are configured.
The MCU bus interface is specified using PSDsoft.
The Voltage Standby (VSTBY, PE6) line should be
held at Ground if not in use.
