86 / 92 page  11–16 11.9.2 Hardware Reset Introduced by the Firmware This feature can be used in firmware upgrade. Once the upgrade is done, the application firmware disconnects from the USB for at least 200 ms to ensure OS has unloaded the device driver. The firmware then enables the watchdog timer (enabled by default after power-on reset) and enters an endless loop without resetting the watchdog timer. Once the watchdog timer times out, it resets the chip as if the chip gets the power-on reset. The bootcode takes over control and starts the power-on sequence again. 11.10 File Listings The bootload code can be obtained from the TI website under SLLS519.code.zip.
