In order to adjust the ADC black reference an external reference voltage is supplied via the

DAC where lowering the voltages shifts the output signal to higher digital values.

Figure 31 illustrates the equivalent internal circuit when using an external DAC to set the black

level reference. The load circuit, the DAC sees, is in parallel to as many segments that are

connected to the same DAC.
