9.8 Crystal Selection Guide
•
A crystal can be used to generate the 25MHz
reference clock instead of an oscillator. The
crystal
must
be
a
fundamental
type,
series-resonant, connected to X1 and X2, and
shunt to ground with 22pF capacitors. (See Table
9-3 and Figure 9-66.)
