Its intention is to provide sufficient informa- tion to support 10/100 Management as defined in Clause 30.1.2 of the IEEE 802.3 specification. This register contains bits [3:18] of the OUI. Bit 3 of the OUI is located in bit 15 of the PHY Identifier, bit 4 of the OUI is in bit 14, and so on. Note: This field is disabled, and writes to this bit are ignored when the National Compatibility Mode bit of the 10BASE-T Configuration Register (address 1Ch) is set. |
