ThePeriodictypeTMhastwoTMinputpins,withthelabelPTCKandPTPIrespectively.ThePTM

inputpin,PTCK,isessentiallyaclocksourceforthePTMandisselectedusingthePTCK2~PTCK0

bitsinthePTMC0register.ThisexternalTMinputpinallowsanexternalclocksourcetodrivethe

internalTM.ThePTCKinputpincanbechosentohaveeitherarisingorfallingactiveedge.The

PTCKpinisalsousedastheexternaltriggerinputpininsinglepulseoutputmodeforthePTM

respectively.

TheotherPTMinputpin,PTPI,isthecaptureinputwhoseactiveedgecanbearisingedge,a

fallingedgeorbothrisingandfallingedgesandtheactiveedgetransitiontypeisselectedusingthe

PTIO1~PTIO0bitsinthePTMC1registerrespectively.Thereisanothercaptureinput,PTCK,for

PTMcaptureinputmode,whichcanbeusedastheexternaltriggerinputsourceexceptthePTPI

pin.

ThePTMhastwooutputpins,PTPandPTPB.ThePTPBistheinvertedsignalofthePTPoutput.

TheTMoutputpinscanbeselectedusingthecorrespondingpin-sharedfunctionselectionbits

describedinthePin-sharedFunctionsection.WhentheTMisintheCompareMatchOutputMode,

thesepinscanbecontrolledbytheTMtoswitchtoahighorlowlevelortotogglewhenacompare

matchsituationoccurs.TheexternalPTPorPTPBoutputpinisalsothepinwheretheTMgenerates

thePWMoutputwaveform.AstheTMoutputpinsarepin-sharedwithotherfunctions,theTM

outputfunctionmustfirstbesetupusingrelevantpin-sharedfunctionselectionregister.
