AsboththeperiodanddutycycleofthePWMwaveformcanbecontrolled,thechoiceofgenerated waveformisextremelyflexible.InthePWMmode,theT1CCLRbithasnoeffectasthePWM period.BothoftheCCRPandCCRAregistersareusedtogeneratethePWMwaveform,oneregister isusedtocleartheinternalcounterandthuscontrolthePWMwaveformfrequency,whiletheother oneisusedtocontrolthedutycycle.ThePWMwaveformfrequencyanddutycyclecantherefore becontrolledbythevaluesintheCCRAandCCRPregisters. Aninterruptflag,oneforeachoftheCCRAandCCRP,willbegeneratedwhenacomparematch occursfromeitherComparatorAorComparatorP.TheT1OCbitintheTM1C1registerisusedto selecttherequiredpolarityofthePWMwaveformwhilethetwoT1IO1andT1IO0bitsareusedto enablethePWMoutputortoforcetheTMoutputpintoafixedhighorlowlevel.TheT1POLbitis usedtoreversethepolarityofthePWMoutputwaveform. • 10-bit PTM, PWM Mode Period Duty CCRP CCRA IffSYS=7.5MHz,TMclocksourceselectfH,CCRP=100andCCRA=40, ThePTMPWMoutputfrequency=fH/100=300kHz,duty=40/100=40%. IftheDutyvaluedefinedbytheCCRAregisterisequaltoorgreaterthanthePeriodvalue,thenthe PWMoutputdutyis100%. |
