Removal and Replacement
This section x contains procedures for removal and installation of all
mechanical and electrical modules.
WARNING
To avoid injury or death, disconnect the power cord from the line
voltage source before performing any procedure in this section.
General Instructions
READ THESE GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE REMOVING A
MODULE.
First locate the module you want to remove in the exploded views
(Figures 111 and 112 on pages 116 and 1111). Then read Equip
ment Required for a list of the tools needed to remove and install
modules in this oscilloscope.
To remove an internal module, you need only remove the oscillo
scope cabinet (page 813) and then perform the removal procedure
for that module. The internal modules are independently removable.
Procedures will refer to front," rear," top," etc. of the oscilloscope;
note from Figure 81 which sides are referenced.
