PORST does not go low enough: it is filtered by input buffer hysteresis. The device remains in the current state. 2. PORST goes low enough, but not for long enough: it is filtered by a low pass filter. The device remains in the current state. 3. The PORST generates a reset: a) PORST low but initially filtered during at least WFRST. Device remains initially in current state. b) PORST potentially filtered until WNFRST. Device state is unknown. It may either be reset or remains in current state depending on extra condition (PVT — process, voltage, temperature). c) PORST asserted for longer than WNFRST. The device is under hardware reset.
