becontrolledwithanexternalinputpinandcandrivetwoexternaloutputpin.

Atitscoreisa10-bitcount-upcounterwhichisdrivenbyauserselectableinternalorexternalclock

source.Therearetwointernalcomparatorswiththenames,ComparatorAandComparatorP.These

comparatorswillcomparethevalueinthecounterwiththeCCRAandCCRPregisters.

Theonlywayofchangingthevalueofthe10-bitcounterusingtheapplicationprogram,isto

clearthecounterbychangingtheTnONbitfromlowtohigh.Thecounterwillalsobecleared

automaticallybyacounteroverfloworacomparematchwithoneofitsassociatedcomparators.

Whentheseconditionsoccur,aTMinterruptsignalwillalsousuallybegenerated.ThePeriodic

TypeTMcanoperateinanumberofdifferentoperationalmodes,canbedrivenbydifferentclock

sourcesincludinganinputpinandcanalsocontroltheoutputpin.Alloperatingsetupconditionsare

selectedusingrelevantinternalregisters.
