TI’s customers are responsible for determining suitability of components for their purposes, as well as validating and testing their design implementation to confirm system functionality. 9.1 Application Information The TUSB1044A is a linear redriver designed specifically to compensate for intersymbol interference (ISI) jitter caused by signal attenuation through a passive medium like PCB traces and cables. The TUSB1044A has four independent inputs, therefore the device can be optimized to correct ISI on all those seven inputs through 16 different equalization choices.
