5.6.2.3

Reduced operation faults

When a reduced operation fault is detected the related SPI flag is set to ‘1’, the IC ERR bits in SPI FRAME are set

to ‘11’ and the FS_FLAG is asserted low.

Disable logic reacts forcing the failing half bridge only in a disable mode so that VGHS_n-VSHS_n = 0 V and

VGLS_n-VSLSn = 0 V [n → failing HB] (SPI configuration bit HBn_DIS remains set as previously configured).

Safe condition is left when all the following conditions are met in the following sequence:

Reduced Operation fault is removed;

Reduced Operation fault flag is cleared on read (action required by Application SW);

SPI bit HBn_ACK [n = 1,2,3] is set ‘0’ and then set back to ‘1’ (action required by Application SW).

Note:

Since HBn_ACK is a Safety Latent Register (SLR) it is required to access correctly the CONFIG MODE in order

to conclude correctly the recovery flow.
