19 / 102 page  STM8L052C6 Functional overview Doc ID 023331 Rev 1 19/102 3.9 Analog-to-digital converter ● 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC1) with 25 channels (including 1 fast channel) and internal reference voltage ● Conversion time down to 1 µs with fSYSCLK= 16 MHz ● Programmable resolution ● Programmable sampling time ● Single and continuous mode of conversion ● Scan capability: automatic conversion performed on a selected group of analog inputs ● Analog watchdog ● Triggered by timer Note: ADC1 can be served by DMA1. 3.10 System configuration controller and routing interface The system configuration controller provides the capability to remap some alternate functions on different I/O ports. TIM4 and ADC1 DMA channels can also be remapped. The highly flexible routing interface allows application software to control the routing of different I/Os to the TIM1 timer input captures. It also controls the routing of internal analog signals to ADC1 and the internal reference voltage VREFINT. 3.11 Timers The medium density value line STM8L05xxx devices contain one advanced control timer (TIM1), two 16-bit general purpose timers (TIM2 and TIM3) and one 8-bit basic timer (TIM4). All the timers can be served by DMA1. Table 2 compares the features of the advanced control, general-purpose and basic timers. Table 2.
