2 Bits for the AD198x are backward-compatible only, AC97NC and MSPLT are read-only 1 (ones).
3 SODIS/SOSEL were LODIS/LOSEL in the AD1985. Most AD1985 configurations swap LINE_OUT and SURROUND pins; these bits really operate as SO not LO.
