DESIGN EXAMPLES
Single-Axis Magnetic Field Sensor
A design example for a single-axis magnetometer capable of
measuring a wide range of ±8 mT magnetic fields using a single
ADAF1080 is shown in Figure 58 where the ADAF1080 with G =
80 and a 20 kHz output filter is connected to an AD4002 ADC
with a 5 V reference voltage. A microcontroller connected to such
a configuration can be used as a single-axis magnetometer meas-
uring a wide range of ±8 mT or for accurate contactless current
measurement.
