IntheCompareMatchOutputMode,theSTIO1~STIO0bitsdeterminehowtheTM

outputpinchangesstatewhenacomparematchoccursfromtheComparatorA.The

TMoutputpincanbesetuptoswitchhigh,switchlowortotoggleitspresentstate

whenacomparematchoccursfromtheComparatorA.WhentheSTIO1~STIO0bits

arebothzero,thennochangewilltakeplaceontheoutput.TheinitialvalueoftheTM

outputpinshouldbesetupusingtheSTOCbit.Notethattheoutputlevelrequestedby

theSTIO1~STIO0bitsmustbedifferentfromtheinitialvaluesetupusingtheSTOC

bitotherwisenochangewilloccurontheTMoutputpinwhenacomparematch

occurs.AftertheTMoutputpinchangesstateitcanberesettoitsinitiallevelby

changingtheleveloftheSTONbitfromlowtohigh.

InthePWMMode,theSTIO1andSTIO0bitsdeterminehowtheTMoutputpin

changesstatewhenacertaincomparematchconditionoccurs.ThePWMoutput

functionismodifiedbychangingthesetwobits.Itisnecessarytochangethevalues

oftheSTIO1andSTIO0bitsonlyaftertheTMhasbeenswitchedoff.Unpredictable

PWMoutputswilloccuriftheSTIO1andSTIO0bitsarechangedwhentheTMis

running.

activehighoractivelow.

Thisbitisusedtoselectthemethodwhichclearsthecounter.Rememberthatthe

StandardTMcontainstwocomparators,ComparatorAandComparatorP,eitherof

whichcanbeselectedtocleartheinternalcounter.WiththeSTCCLRbitsethigh,

thecounterwillbeclearedwhenacomparematchoccursfromtheComparatorA.

Whenthebitislow,thecounterwillbeclearedwhenacomparematchoccursfrom

theComparatorPorwithacounteroverflow.Acounteroverflowclearingmethodcan

onlybeimplementediftheCCRPbitsareallclearedtozero.TheSTCCLRbitisnot

usedinthePWM,SinglePulseorInputCaptureMode.
