These registers can be used as accumulators for computation operations and as pointers for memory access. Of the 16 registers, enhanced commands are provided for the following registers to enable their use for particular applications. R13 : Virtual accumulator R14 : Frame pointer R15 : Stack pointer Initial values at reset are undefined for R0 to R14. The value for R15 is 00000000H (SSP value). 8.4.2 PS (Program Status) This register holds the program status, and is divided into three parts, ILM, SCR, and CCR.
