43 / 62 page  43 µPD62A Data Sheet U14474EJ1V0DS00 9.8 Subroutine Instructions The program memory consists of pages in steps of 1K (000H to 3FFH). However, as the assembler automatically performs page optimization, it is unnecessary to designate pages. The pages allowed for each product are as follows. µPD62A (ROM: 0.5 K steps): page 0 µPD6P4B (PROM: 1 K steps): page 0 CALL addr <1> Instruction code: 0 01101001 0 page 0 0100010001 ; page 1 0100110001 a9 a7 a6 a5 a4 a8 a3 a2 a1 a0 <2> Cycle count: 2 <3> Function: SP ← SP + 1 ASR ← PC PC ← addr The stack pointer value is incremented (+1) and the program counter value is saved in the address stack register. Then, the address specified with the operand addr (a9 to a0) is entered in the program counter. If a carry is generated when the stack pointer value is incremented (+1), an internal reset takes effect. RET <1> Instruction code: 0 10001001 0 <2> Cycle count: 1 <3> Function: PC ← ASR SP ← SP – 1 The value saved in the address stack register is restored to the program counter. Then, the stack pointer is decremented (–1) . If a borrow is generated when the stack pointer value is decremented (–1), an internal reset takes effect. |
