41 / 60 page  AN4043 Package Doc ID 022726 Rev 2 41/60 Positive DC-link Pin: P ● This is a DC-link positive power supply pin of the inverter and it is internally connected to the collectors of the high-side IGBTs ● To suppress the surge voltage caused by the DC-link wiring or PCB pattern inductance, connect a smoothing filter capacitor close to the P pin. Generally a 0.1 or 0.22 µF high frequency, high voltage non-inductive capacitor is recommended. Negative DC-link Pins: NU, NV, NW ● These are the DC-link negative power supply pins (power ground) of the inverter ● These pins are connected to the low-side IGBT emitters of each phase ● The power ground of the application should be separated from the logic ground of the system and they should be reconnected at one specific point (star connection). Inverter power output Pins: U, V, W ● Inverter output pins for connecting to the inverter load (e.g. motor). |
