Note 1:

The node transmitting the remote frame must have a transmit buffer, from which to send the remote frame, and one receive buffer to receive the data frame.

The node receiving the remote frame must have a transmit buffer from which to transmit a data frame in response to the received remote frame.

The FnBP bits (CiBUFPNTm) should be pointing to a transmit buffer in case of remote transmission.

The RTREN bits (CiTRmnCON) should be set so that, when a remote transmit is received, the TXREQ bits (CiTRmnCON) will be set automatically.
