Auto-Negotiation Status Register (Reg 1)

The Auto-Negotiation Status Register (Reg 1) contains

Read/Only (R/O) bits or Clear on Read (COR) bits. This

Auto-Negotiation Status Register (Reg 1)

Duplex_Mode

1 = The port can be forced into full duplex operation when both the

Duplex_Mode set and the ANEG_EN bit clear. If the ANEG_EN bit

is set, this bit is ignored. When the Duplex_Mode is modiﬁed, the

port status will not be modiﬁed unless the ANEG_EN bit is cleared.

0 = Port is forced to half-duplex mode when ANEG_EN bit is

cleared. If ANEG_EN bit is set, this bit is ignored.

Collision Test

1 = Collision indication will occur on the channel after the transmit

enable bit (QTX_EN) is asserted.

0 = Port operation is normal.
