MPC5602D devices include two functionally different LINFlex controller types. These are distinguished

in the documentation by the abbreviations “LINFlex” and “LINFlexD”. The letter “D” indicates that the

“LINFlexD” unlike the plain “LINFlex” supports the DMA.

The MPC5602D devices combine these two types to provide up to three modules supporting the LINFlex

protocol. The module (instance) numbers and the corresponding functional controller type are listed
