To drive all 16 channels and to get the complete diagnosis data of the TLE6240GP a two step access has to be

performed as follows:

operation mode of channels 1 to 8.

Data Byte 1 gives the input information (on

or off) for Channel 1 to 8.

SO diagnosis: Diagnosis information of

channel 1 to 8 or 9 to 16, depending on the

SI control word before.

SI command: Control Byte 1 programs the

operation mode of Channels 1 to 8.

Data Byte 1 gives the input information (on
