The IIR filter can be independently programmed for temperature and pressure with the fields DSP_IIR.set_iir_t and

DSP_IIR.set_iir_p. The value “0x0” is used to bypass the filter. The IIR filter is reset when a transition from sleep mode to

NORMAL or CONTINUOUS mode occurs. That means that the first measurement value will be the initial content of the

filter. A manual reset of the filter, e.g. when using forced mode, can be triggered by asserting the register field DSP_-

CONFIG.iir_flush_forced_en.

The IIR-filtered data is used depending on the settings in the DSP_CONFIG register:



shdw_sel_iir_t: select source for temperature data register



fifo_sel_iir_t: select source for temperature FIFO



shdw_sel_iir_p: select source for pressure data register



fifo_sel_iir_p: select source for pressure FIFO



oor_sel_iir_p: select source for pressure out-of-range interrupt
