Exposure to light sources can cause malfunction of the IC. In the application it is therefore required to protect the IC from light. The protection has to be done on all sides of the IC, i.e. front, rear and all edges. The pinning of the PCF8811 has an optimum design for single plane wiring e.g. for chip-on-glass display modules. Display size: 80 × 128 pixels.
