TheselectionoftherequiredclocksourceisimplementedusingtheTnCK2~TnCK0bitsintheTM controlregisters.TheclocksourcecanbearatioofthesystemclockfSYSortheinternalhighclock fH,thefSUBclocksourceortheexternalTCKnpin.TheTCKnpinclocksourceisusedtoallowan externalsignaltodrivetheTMasanexternalclocksourceorforeventcounting. TheTMseachhavetwooutputpinswiththelabelTPn_0andTPn_1.WhentheTMisinthe CompareMatchOutputMode,thesepinscanbecontrolledbytheTMtoswitchtoahighorlow levelortotogglewhenacomparematchsituationoccurs.TheexternalTPn_0andTPn_1output pinsarealsothepinwheretheTMgeneratesthePWMoutputwaveform.AstheTMoutputpinsare pin-sharedwithotherfunction,theTMoutputfunctionmustfirstbesetupusingtheCTRL0register.
