Single Pulse Mode
Toselectthismode,bitsSTM1andSTM0intheSTMC1registershouldbesetto10respectively
andalsotheSTIO1andSTIO0bitsshouldbesetto11respectively.TheSinglePulseOutputMode,
asthenamesuggests,willgenerateasingleshotpulseontheTMoutputpin.
ThetriggerforthepulseoutputleadingedgeisalowtohightransitionoftheSTONbit,whichcan
beimplementedusingtheapplicationprogram.HoweverintheSinglePulseMode,theSTONbit
canalsobemadetoautomaticallychangefromlowtohighusingtheexternalSTCKpin,whichwill
inturninitiatetheSinglePulseoutput.
WhentheSTONbittransitionstoahighlevel,thecounterwillstartrunningandthepulseleading
edgewillbegenerated.TheSTONbitshouldremainhighwhenthepulseisinitsactivestate.The
generatedpulsetrailingedgewillbegeneratedwhentheSTONbitisclearedtozero,whichcanbe
implementedusingtheapplicationprogramorwhenacomparematchoccursfromComparatorA.
