INTES1 INTES0 Request Flag 0 0 External interrupt disable 0 1 Rising edge trigger 1 0 Falling edge trigger 1 1 Dual edge trigger Theexternalinterruptpinispin-sharedwiththeI/OpinPA2andcanonlybeusedasanexternal interruptpinifthecorrespondingexternalinterruptenablebitintheINTC0registerhasbeenset andtheedgetriggertypehasbeenselectedusingtheCTRL1register.Thepinmustalsobesetas aninputbysettingthecorrespondingPAC.2bitintheportcontrolregister.Whentheinterruptis enabled,thestackisnotfullandatransitionappearsontheexternalinterruptpin,asubroutine calltotheexternalinterruptvectoratlocation04H,willtakeplace.Whentheinterruptisserviced, theexternalinterruptrequestflag,INTF,willbeautomaticallyresetandtheEMIbitwillbe automaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts.Notethatanypull-highresistorconnectionsonthis pinwillremainvalidevenifthepinisusedasanexternalinterruptinput Timer/Event Counter Interrupt ForaTimer/EventCounterinterrupttooccur,theglobalinterruptenablebit,EMIandthe correspondingtimerinterruptenablebitT0Emustfirstbeset.AnactualTimer/EventCounter interruptwilltakeplacewhentheTimer/EventCounterrequestflagT0Fisset,asituationthatwill occurwhentherelevantTimer/EventCounteroverflows.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackis notfullandaTimer/EventCounteroverflowoccurs,asubroutinecalltotherelevanttimerinterrupt vector,willtakeplace.Whentheinterruptisserviced,thetimerinterruptrequestflagT0Fwillbe automaticallyresetandtheEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts. Interrupt Wake-up Function Eachoftheinterruptfunctionshasthecapabilityofwakingupthemicrocontrollerwheninthe SleepMode.Awake-upisgeneratedwhenaninterruptrequestflagchangesfromlowtohighand isindependentofwhethertheinterruptisenabledornot.Therefore,eventhoughthedeviceisin theSleepModeanditssystemoscillatorisstopped,situationssuchasexternaledgetransitions ontheexternalinterruptpins,alowpowersupplyvoltageormaycausetheirrespectiveinterrupt flagtobesethighandconsequentlygenerateaninterrupt.Caremustthereforebetakenifspurious wake-upsituationsaretobeavoided.Ifaninterruptwake-upfunctionistobedisabledthenthe correspondinginterruptrequestflagshouldbesethighbeforethedeviceenterstheSleepMode.The interruptenablebitshavenoeffectontheinterruptwake-upfunction. |
