AsboththeperiodanddutycycleofthePWMwaveformcanbecontrolled,thechoiceofgenerated waveformisextremelyflexible.InthePWMmode,thePTnCCLRbithasnoeffectasthePWM period.BothoftheCCRAandCCRPregistersareusedtogeneratethePWMwaveform,oneregister isusedtocleartheinternalcounterandthuscontrolthePWMwaveformfrequency,whiletheother oneisusedtocontrolthedutycycle.ThePWMwaveformfrequencyanddutycyclecantherefore becontrolledbythevaluesintheCCRAandCCRPregisters. Aninterruptflag,oneforeachoftheCCRAandCCRP,willbegeneratedwhenacomparematch occursfromeitherComparatorAorComparatorP.ThePTnOCbitinthePTMnC1registerisusedto selecttherequiredpolarityofthePWMwaveformwhilethetwoPTnIO1andPTnIO0bitsareused toenablethePWMoutputortoforcetheTMoutputpintoafixedhighorlowlevel.ThePTnPOL bitisusedtoreversethepolarityofthePWMoutputwaveform. • 10-bit PWM Mode, Edge-aligned Mode CCRP 0 1~1023 Pe�iod 10�4 1~10�3 Duty CCRA IffSYS=16MHz,TMclocksourceselectfSYS/4,CCRP=512andCCRA=128, ThePTMPWMoutputfrequency=(fSYS/4)/512=fSYS/2048=7.8125kHz,duty=128/512=25%. IftheDutyvaluedefinedbytheCCRAregisterisequaltoorgreaterthanthePeriodvalue,thenthe PWMoutputdutyis100%. |
