Furthermore, in order to work properly the state machines require input data. The ana-

log data is provided primarily by an auto running interrupt mode ADC state machine.

The complete software package for the application is split into the functional blocks in

the diagram shown below. While the variables are identified as follows.

This file executes all the peripheral initializations and then schedules the different con-

trol tasks.

The ADC and the Command control state machines are also included in this file. The

ADC machine is controlled via interrupts.
