3 / 52 page ![]() Pin Description Pad Name I/O Options Description PA0~PA7 I/O Pull-high Wake-up Bidirectional 8-bit input/output port. Each individual pin on this port can be config- ured as a wake-up input by a configuration option. Software instructions determine if the pin is a CMOS output or Schmitt Trigger input. Configuration options deter- mine which pins on the port have pull-high resistors. PB0~PB3 I/O Pull-high Bidirectional 4-bit input/output port.Software instructions determine if the pin is a CMOS output or Schmitt Trigger input. Configuration options determine which pins on the port have pull-high resistors. PC0 I/O Pull-high Bidirectional input/output port. Software instructions determine if the pin is a CMOS output or Schmitt Trigger input. Configuration options determine which pins on the port have pull-high resistors. When the multi-function interrupt is en- abled an interrupt will be generated whenever PC0 has a falling edge. When in the idle mode such an interrupt will wake up the device. Configuration options determine which nib- ble on the port have pull-high resistors. TMR0/INT I ¾ External interrupt Schmitt Trigger input. Edge trigger activated during on high to low transition. Schmitt Trigger input for Timer/Event Counter 0. No pull-high resis- tor. For INT edge trigger activated on a falling edge. For TMR0 activated on a fall- ing or rising transition edge, selected by software. DTMF O ¾ Dual Tone Multi Frequency Output X1 X2 I O ¾ X1 and X2 are connected to an external 32768Hz crystal or resonator for the sys- tem clock. XC ¾¾ External low pass filter pin used for the frequency up conversion circuit. RES I ¾ Schmitt trigger reset input. Active low. VDD ¾¾ Positive power supply VSS ¾¾ Negative power supply, ground.
