39 / 80 page  HD404339 Series 37 Timers The MCU has three built-in timers A, B, and C. The functions of each timer are listed in table 7. Timer A Timer A is an 8-bit free-running timer that can also be used as a clock time-base with a 32.768-kHz subsystem oscillator.
