3.3.3. Normal mode

Normal mode continuously cycles between an (active) measurement period and an (inactive) standby period. The

measurement rate is set in the odr_sel register (see 4.3.18), where various prescaler for sample frequencies fsampling=200Hz

can be selected. The sampling period

After setting the mode, measurement and filter options, the last measurement results can be obtained from the data registers

without the need of further write accesses. Normal mode is recommended when using the IIR filter, and useful for applications

in which short-term disturbances (e.g. blowing into the sensor) should be filtered.
