DESCRIPTION

The

µPD66P04B is a microcontroller for infrared remote control transmitters which is provided with a one-time

PROM as the program memory.

Because users can write programs for the

µPD66P04B, it is ideal for program evaluation and small-scale

production of the application systems using the

µPD6604.

When reading this document, also refer to the

µPD6604 Data Sheet (U11281E).

APPLICATION

Infrared remote control transmitter (for AV and household electric appliances)

Because the

µPD66P04B uses an RC oscillation system clock, its accuracy and stability are lower than

the models using ceramic oscillation.

In applications where the clock accuracy and stability pose a problem, use the

µPD61P34B (ceramic

oscillation type).
