APPLICATIONS INFORMATION

RECOMMENDED EXTERNAL COMPONENTS

Notes:

1.

AGND and DGND should be connected as close to the WM8786 as possible.

2.

C1 to C6 should be placed as close to the WM8786 device as possible.

3.

Capacitor types should be chosen carefully. Capacitors with very low ESR are recommended for optimum performance, such as X7R. VMID and VREF decoupling

capacitors must be high quality electrolytic capacitors to achieve datasheet performance; ceramic capacitors are not acceptable.

4.

An active input filter is required to achieve datasheet performance. The circuit shown is a tested inverting reference example.
