2.5.2

External filter (BPF)

The DMX250 operates using an external 5MHz bandpass filter. The minimum allowable bandwidth of the filters is

+/-700 kHz @ 3dB. Narrower bandwidth limits the maximal bitrate.

Figure 5 depicts a recommended 5MHz discrete passive filter.
