AS3715 − Detailed Description – Power Management Functions

DCDC Step-Down Controller

Description

The Step-Down controller SD4 is a dual phase controller using

an external power-stage incorporating 2 phases to achieve

higher output currents. The maximum output current is 5A with

having 2.5A per phase when using the AS3729 power stage. This

allows the use of low profile coils without compromising on

performance.
