The value will be provided from ams and has to be written in the algorithm related registers M_ctrl [0x2B], J_ctrl [0x2C], T_ctrl [0x2D] during the initialization phase. Please contact ams for parameter settings. Below is the optimal setup for a range of ±0.6 mm to obtain the best dynamic range from XY registers -128~+127 with one given magnet airgap, with d2x0.8mm axial magnet.
