Either the LED-outputs, the photodiode amplifier and the ADC are controlled manually by means of register bits, or they are controlled by a built in sequencer. Manual Operation of The Optical Frontend: The optical front end can be manually controlled via the AFE_ MAN_SEQ_CFG register using man_mode=1.
