ThereisanEVchipdevice,HT69V240,whichisusedtoemulatetherealMCUdevice,HT69F240.

TheEVchipdevicealsoprovidesthe"On-ChipDebug"functiontodebugtherealMCUdevice

duringdevelopmentprocess.TherealMCUandEVchipdevicesarealmostfunctionalcompatible

exceptthe"On-ChipDebug"functionandpackagetypes.UserscanusetheEVchipdeviceto

emulatetherealMCUdevicebehaviorsbyconnectingtheOCDSDAandOCDSCKpinstothe

HoltekHT-IDEdevelopmenttools.TheOCDSDApinistheOCDSData/Addressinput/output

pinwhiletheOCDSCKpinistheOCDSclockinputpin.WhenusersusetheEVchipdevicefor

debugging,thecorrespondingpinfunctionssharedwiththeOCDSDAandOCDSCKpinsinthe

realMCUdevicewillhavenoeffectintheEVchipdevice.However,thetwoOCDSpinswhichare

pin-sharedwiththeICPprogrammingpinsarestillusedastheFlashMemoryprogrammingpins

informationisstored.

Dividedintotwosections,thefirstoftheseisanareaofRAMwherespecialfunctionregistersare

located.Theseregistershavefixedlocationsandarenecessaryforcorrectoperationofthedevice.

Manyoftheseregisterscanbereadfromandwrittentodirectlyunderprogramcontrol,however,

someremainprotectedfromusermanipulation.ThesecondareaofDataMemoryisreservedfor

generalpurposeuse.Alllocationswithinthisareaarereadandwriteaccessibleunderprogram

control.SwitchingbetweenthedifferentDataMemorybanksisachievedbysettingtheBankPointer

tothecorrectvalue.
