ThetriggerforthepulseoutputleadingedgeisalowtohightransitionofthePT1ONbit,which canbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogram.HoweverintheSinglePulseMode,thePT1ON bitcanalsobemadetoautomaticallychangefromlowtohighusingtheexternalPTCK1pin, whichwillinturninitiatetheSinglePulseoutput.WhenthePT1ONbittransitionstoahighlevel, thecounterwillstartrunningandthepulseleadingedgewillbegenerated.ThePT1ONbitshould remainhighwhenthepulseisinitsactivestate.Thegeneratedpulsetrailingedgewillbegenerated whenthePT1ONbitisclearedtozero,whichcanbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogramor whenacomparematchoccursfromComparatorA. HoweveracomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsoautomaticallyclearthePT1ONbitandthus generatetheSinglePulseoutputtrailingedge.InthiswaytheCCRAvaluecanbeusedtocontrol thepulsewidth.AcomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsogenerateTMinterrupts.Thecounter canonlyberesetbacktozerowhenthePT1ONbitchangesfromlowtohighwhenthecounter restarts.IntheSinglePulseModeCCRPisnotused.ThePT1CCLRbitisalsonotused.
