TherearetwoEVchipsnamedHT66V007andHT66V008whichareusedtoemulatetheHT66F007

andHT66F008repectively.TheseEVchipdevicesalsoprovidean“On-ChipDebug”functionto

debugthedeviceduringthedevelopmentprocess.TheEVchipandtheactualMCUdevicesare

almostfunctionallycompatibleexceptforthe“On-ChipDebug”function.UserscanusetheEV

chipdevicetoemulatetherealchipdevicebehaviorbyconnectingtheOCDSDAandOCDSCK

pinstotheHoltekHT-IDEdevelopmenttools.TheOCDSDApinistheOCDSData/Addressinput/

outputpinwhiletheOCDSCKpinistheOCDSclockinputpin.WhenusersusetheEVchipfor

debugging,otherfunctionswhicharesharedwiththeOCDSDAandOCDSCKpinsintheactual

MCUdevicewillhavenoeffectintheEVchip.However,thetwoOCDSpinswhicharepin-shared

withtheICPprogrammingpinsarestillusedastheFlashMemoryprogrammingpinsforICP.Fora

Dividedintotwosections,thefirstoftheseisanareaofRAM,knownastheSpecialFunctionData

Memory.Herearelocatedregisterswhicharenecessaryforcorrectoperationofthedevices.Many

oftheseregisterscanbereadfromandwrittentodirectlyunderprogramcontrol,however,some

remainprotectedfromusermanipulation.ThesecondareaofDataMemoryisknownastheGeneral

PurposeDataMemory,whichisreservedforgeneralpurposeuse.Alllocationswithinthisareaare

readandwriteaccessibleunderprogramcontrol.

TheoverallDataMemoryissubdividedintotwobanks.TheSpecialPurposeDataMemoryregisters

areaccessibleinallbanks,withtheexceptionoftheEECregisterataddress40H,whichisonly

accessibleinBank1.SwitchingbetweenthedifferentDataMemorybanksisachievedbysetting

theBankPointertothecorrectvalue.ThestartaddressoftheDataMemoryforthedevicesisthe

address00H.
