System Clocks ThisdevicehastwodifferentclocksourcesforboththeCPUandperipheralfunctionoperation.By providingtheuserwithclockoptionsusingregisterprogramming,aclocksystemcanbeconfigured toobtainmaximumapplicationperformance. Themainsystemclock,cancomefromeitherahighfrequency,fH,oralowfrequency,fL,andis selectedusingtheHLCLKbitandCKS2~CKS0bitsintheSMODregister.Thehighspeedsystem clockcanbesourcedfromHIRCoscillator.Thelowspeedsystemclocksourcecanbesourcedfrom theinternalclockfL.Theotherchoice,whichisadividedversionofthehighspeedsystemoscillator hasarangeoffH/2~fH/64.
