Both requirements are achieved with the internal driving circuit of the AS3636. Trimming allows to adopt to different

trigger coils and IGBTs.

The photoflash capacitor stores the energy for the flash. Its capacitance define the maximum available energy. Using

higher value capacitors as shown in Table 30 is possible, but will increase the charging time.
