Self Testing

The AS3636 supports internal self testing to allow the verification of the device together with all its external compo-

nents in a completed system.

Self testing is initiated in active mode

in Figure 15

module, it will read 40h (only register bit READYF set).

12.A running self test can only be stopped by writing MST=0 and afterwards STDBY=0; the last step in the

procedure is still exectued.
