The AS6200 is connected to a microcontroller via an I²C bus (SDA and SCL only). Additionally the Alert output can also be used for temperature monitoring (e.g. using the interrupt mode, refer to IM bit settings), an example is given in Figure 34 where the Alert output is connected to a microcontroller. The I²C of the AS6200 address of the can be selected by connecting the ADD0 pin to VDD or VSS (refer to Figure 27). This pin must not be left unconnected.
